Mike has studied photography at all levels. He contributes much of his photographic experience to his travels throughout unique countries, documenting the cultures, and environments of other people. Mike's ocean experience is centered around many years as a competitive swimmer, Santa Cruz junior lifeguard, beach lifeguard, junior lifeguard instructor, and volunteer First Responder for the Marine Rescue Unit of S.C. County.

Through his photography, Mike Peralta would like to express the profound importance of protecting and respecting the fragile ocean environments.
